How do you know you need a new roof?

If your roof or dwelling displays any of these traits then getting a roof inspection is a wise decision.

A quality inspection will determine the lifespan and current status of your roof.

  • The edges of your shingles are starting to curl

  • You are missing several shingles after every storm and the ones you find in your yard are brittle

  • You have more shingle granules in your gutter than on your shingles

  • You have no, or inadequate, attic ventilation

  • Your shingle roof is more than 15 years old

  • You have brown spots on your ceiling drywall in several rooms of your home. Or, you have active water leaks each time it rains in several rooms of your home

  • Your metal roof is missing screws or some have backed out. This may not require a new roof, but does warrant an inspection

  • Nail pops are common on shingle roofs, this is when the head of a nail pops through the shingle. Again, this may not require a new roof, but does warrant an inspection
